He was the highest paid national football manager in world football and he failed to get the best out of the players at his disposal.
This is equally damning be it because he lacked the ability to do so or because the players themselves failed to perform for him.
The hope is that this failure sparks some kind of revolution in the English game as a whole that could take us forward. But it won't.
Sadly, for me, it's all about the Prem in this country now. |
