Re: Are jeans becoming "dressy?"

I remember a few years back people started wearing dark blue jeans with a t-shirt and a suit jacket. I thought it looked nice, but how "dressy' can jeans be?

If you wear them with black dress shoes and a nice belt, you can get pretty close. But I don't think they are acceptable like black slacks are, for example.

I could never get away with wearing jeans at work, so for that reason I can't say it's that dressy.
