East Coast Bias

Do you believe there to be an East Coast Bias in voting? I think there is a mild bias but it's not as exaggerated as people think it is. It's just exposure. I bring this up after Ryan Braun won the NL ROY. It seems Every Rockie fan and their mother believes that there is no way in hell it should've even been close. Is this blind homerism(something we're good at here) at it's best? Or do they have a point? And is Milwaukee East Coast?
