I feel you on the Favre point Simon, but you're way off on Roethlisberger. They brought in Charlie Batch in the THIRD quarter, and Roethlisberger came in on the first drive of the 4th (my guess is Batch got banged up from a big hit or something), Ben handed it off twice, then was sacked on third and long. Then Batch came back in for the rest of the game. Plus, in the 4th quarter, the Steelers called 15 rushing plays (including two kneeldowns) and only 3 passing plays, on 3rd and 6, 3rd and 7, and 3rd and 8...two of which were Charlie Batch, and the other was the sack of Big Ben. So, Roethlisberger did not attempt a pass in the 4th quarter |
