We have just been reading a book about the breakdown of the American family and there was quite a bit of research in it about divorce.
All the research suggests that it is better for a child to grow up with both of his biological parents and that they be married.
A kid whose parents divorce has a much greater chance of having problems later in life.
There is always exceptions to that though, but typicallly it holds true. |
