I'm generally of the belief that if you disrespect somebody you should have to pay consequences for it.

I'm not sure how far I would take it (i.e. intentionally injuring Brady), but it's a pretty sad state of society in general that people can go around disrespecting other people all they want and if anybody retaliates, they are the bad guy

Perhaps if people were forced to pay consequences for their actions, they would act with a little more class and respect.

This obviously goes beyond the football field...but it also applies to on-field stuff as well
