MLB Playoffs Discussion Thread

I wasn't really into them the first couple days all that much but the two games last night were brilliant.

I watched the Yankees/Indians at my house and what a pitching duel that ended up being. I really didn't know what to expect from Carmona but he was awesome. Pettite also. The whole bombardment of insects is getting a lot of play around here. Some think the Yankees are cursed! lol. It's crazy. I'm not sure how much it affected Joba but it obviously had some effect.

What a job by Kenny Lofton. I had this feeling going into this series that he was going to be a tough out, but I had no idea how tough.. He's been a machine.

There's also the endless talks about A-Rod. I don't think it's fair to execute him yet, but he'll definitely need to pick it up in New York.

I like the Yankees going back to the stadium though. I think we'll still have a game 5 in Cleveland.

The other game between the Sox and Halos was also very entertaining, especially in a sports bar full of Boston nuts lol. The walk-off by Manny brought upon great alcohol abuse as everyone was cheering loudly and buying eachother shots.

I think the Angels are done. They're going home also, but the team looks like they feel defeated.

So, are you guys surprised by anything thus far? Comments? Anything?
