AL MVP - Alex Rodriguez, Yankees. This is very simple. Leads Majors in HR's, RBI's, and I think runs scored. Has a batting average over .300 and plays on the Yanks who'll be in the playoffs.

NL MVP - Matt Holiday, Rockies. Team is on a 10-game winning streak, only a game out of the wild card. Holiday has a batting average over .330, 36 homers, and 131 RBI's.

AL Cy Young - Josh Beckett, Red Sox. 20-game winner and top 5 in the AL in ERA. Sox will win the east division.

NL Cy Young - Jake Peavy, Padres. 19-game winner and leads the majors in ERA by more than .5, the Pads are also in the thick of the playoff race.
