That figure is not entirely accurate. His deal is structured in a way where he gets a % of the match attendance (if he plays), sponsorship deals, win bonus', merchandise sales, etc. The $250m figure has been abused. He will not get anything like that. Sure he'll still be earning more than any other soccer player, but not $250m.
