| Re: iMPACT! September 20th 2007 iMPACT! starts out with Kurt Angle apologizing to Kevin Nash for his actions at No Surrender. Nash accepts, but tells the Angles that they messed up last week when they attacked Sting. He tells them that there are “two Stings” and the one Kurt’s gonna face at Bound for Glory is a demon. In the meantime, a letter was delivered to Karen, but she shrugged it off like it was fan mail. Kurt starts to become worried about Sting, and tells Karen to go apologize.
The in ring debut of Judas Mesias is next as he faces Showtime Eric Young. Mesias doesn’t let Eric get any offense in the match and simply destroys Showtime. Judas then jumps up and slams Eric’s face right into the mat, in what Don West called “a shot straight to hell.” Judas attacks Eric after the match and Sharkboy tries to make the save, but he is met with the same fate as Eric Young.
Backstage, Crystal is with the Christian Coalition. AJ put together a luau party in their locker room in honor of Christian Cage’s match later on in the night against Junior Fatu. Tomko yells at AJ to try and get focused on the Tag Team Titles. Cage then comes in and tell Crystal “Fatu has come at a bad time. When I look at him, I will see Joe. I have never been pinned or submitted; that won’t change tonight or at Bound for Glory.”
The Phenomenal AJ Styles takes on Ron “The Truth” Killings next. Early on in the match, both of the competitors team mates try to interfere in the match. The action goes back and forth until AJ goes for the Styles Clash, but PacMan comes in and sprays paint in his eyes. Truth took advantage and hit the scissor kick to get the win.
Jeremy Borash is backstage with Karen Angle. Karen looks into the camera and does the academy award winning performance of the night when she tells Sting “I’ve done some horrible things to you Sting. Please give me the chance to make it up to you.” Karen starts to walk to the ring as iMPACT! went to commercial.
Karen is in the ring now and says “I’m so deeply ashamed of the things I did. All I want is for you and Kurt to have a great match at Bound for Glory.” Sting then comes out and asks Karen if she read that letter she received. Karen finally reads it and finds out that Sting put a restraining order on her – she is to be at least 50 feet away from Sting at all times. Sting then continued to get closer to Karen, but she wasn’t able to move away fast enough, as the police came to take her away. As she was placed in the police car, Kurt frantically yelled at them that she didn’t do anything.
The main event of Christian Cage vs. Junior Fatu is next. Fatu used his size advantage throughout most of the match. It seemed Fatu was going to “Stink Face” Cage numerous times in the match, but Cage was always able to get away somehow. The finish saw Faut going for an Emerald Fusion but AJ came out and grabbed Cage’s legs. Cage then rolled up Fatu – using Fatu’s trunks in the process – to pick up the win. Fatu then took it to Cage and AJ, even giving the two a Stink Face. Tomko then entered the ring and attacked junior Fatu. Samoa Joe came down to help his fellow Samoan and the Coalition ran out of the ring and far away from the Samoans.
Before the cameras stopped rolling, the picture quickly went outside as Judas Mesias was attacking Sting. Judas then tied a noose around the Icon’s neck and stood in appeasement as the show ended. |
