I dont mind out-on-a-limb statements if there is some sort of a logic or reason behind them. The statements that bother me are the ones like "Peyton Manning will suck this year because they don't have Dominic Rhodes any more" and stuff like that. The Randy Moss quote is an example of that. You know why no other receiver gained Brady's "trust" before? Because none of them were as good as Moss!!!

As for the "system isnt built for a guy like Moss" argument...that's total horseshit. There are certain guys that have to have the offense catered to them to succeed (Jamal Lewis, Michael Vick, etc) but most NFL offenses arent THAT different strategically. Every offense can use a tall, fast receiver with excellent hands who can elude receivers, catch jumpballs, and break tackles in the open field.

That's like saying Peyton Manning is a bad fit for an offense, because the team isnt built to have a strong-armed, accurate QB who reads defenses well and inspires confidence in his teammates.
