The Yanks now find themselves 12 1/2 games back. 12 1/2 games! That's a huge fucking lead for a team in Boston who doesn't appear to be letting up anytime soon. If anything, they'll be getting better. Beckett should be ready to come back soon, who was tearing it up in the 1st month and a half and John Lester who was so good for the Sox a year ago is also slated for a comeback.
The Yanks have Clemens coming, but that's not nearly enough for the way they've been playing. I'm not going to completely bury the Yankees though. They still have the most potent offense in the game and when they do get Clemens they'll have a decent starting 5 of Clemens, Pettitte, Wang, Mussina, and maybe Hughes. They should definitely be able to get themselves into the wild card race, but they have to start winning now! |

The road I walk is paved in gold
To glorify my platinum soul
I am the closest thing to God
So worship me and never stop.
The selfish blood runs through my veins
I gave up everything for fame
I am the life that you adore
I feed the rich and fuck the poor.
This is entertainment
Lives are entertainment
You are down on your knees
Begging me for more. |
