It’s been obvious for quite some time that the relationship between Mourinho and Abramovic hasn’t been good over the last few months. Something must have happened for Jose to finally throw in the towel/or Abramovic to have sacked him.
If the latter has happened then I think it’ll come back to haunt him. Players like Lampard and Terry signed contracts on the basis Jose stayed, and their faith in their owner will be severely dented.
I expect Frank Arnesen (sp?) to take over from Jose at the bridge now. Outside bet might be Juande Ramos. As for Mourinho, What next? I reckon there’ll be a vacancy coming up soon that might interest him… The Bolton Wanderers job!! |
