I think it's kind of rearing it's head again now though, as once-All-Pro quarterbacks like McNabb and Culpepper are regressing as they get older, and high-profile draftees like Michael Vick and Byron Leftwich have vastly underperformed. I'm curious to see if it'll affect Andre Woodson's draft position next April.
That just doesn't make sense to me at all, Vick is a poor argument because he would have played QB in Atlanta for another 10 years if he wasn't an idiot. Leftwich was replaced by Garrad who is black. McNabb still starts and doesn't get much scrutiny, shit look at Peyton Manning, the poor guy had to answer "Can you win the big one?" every sodding year despite the fact he is the best QB the league has seen for years.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned is how Jason Campbell and Tavaris Jackson have come into the league and started this year, Vince Young is being hailed as the new Vick and new face of the NFL. 1/4 of all teams have a Black QB. Call in Dr King.

QBs get criticism and scrutiny because they are QBs. Romo took some shit last year at the back end of the year, Grossman is constantly getting called a joke despite the fact he was 1 receiver worth a damn and that receiver keeps hanging him out to dry, Eli gets constant scrutiny being Peytons brother and because he played pretty poor last year.

As for the Woodson comment, that is made redundant by the fact the number pick this year was a black QB. Go figure.
