Of course it would. Thats why EVERY team tries to pick up signals. Some teams, pay more attention to this than others. The Patriots being one. The Patriots are def not the only team that has been rumored to do this, and the only reason we know about this now, is because the Jets made SURE the media got ahold of this story.
This is the first year the NFL is really cracking down on this rule. Why? Cause the Patriots are the ONLY team that does it? Please. if it wasnt a league wide issue, the Patriots would have gotten smacked for it already.
Regardless, Bill fucked up, and broke the rules. And got his punishment for it. LOSING A FIRST ROUND PICK, is alot worse than not allowing him on the field for 1-4 weeks.
But saying that all the Patriots Dynasty is because of cheating, is stupidity. We won games before, and we'll win games now, and this time NE will be watched like a hawk by the NFL now.
