Why not throw him to the wolves? Manning was thrown to the wolves See: 3-13 Season. I don't know about you but I think Manning has done well. McNabb was essentially thrown to the wolves. Granted I know every QB is different and they can't ALL be thrown to the wolves, See: Carr, David; Couch, Tim; Smith, Akili; Leaf, Ryan. However sometimes development doesn't work either See: Culpepper, Daunte(adequate no where near what he could be though). It's really a coin toss, See how he performs in the pocket, if he's all over the place and has happy feet sit him. If he looks poised keep him in there.
