The way the deal is structured he get a percentage of kits sold, attendances, etc. So if people don't come to the matches, or buy his merchandise then he won't make the top end of what he's reportedly going to get. Although he'll still rake it in.
I do find it a bit strange that he'd come back to train in the UK. I haven't seen this story anywhere other than here. I don't think he'll do it as it would mean uprooting the family to come over here for a few months. I don't think Victoria would trade the sunshine of LA for the rain clouds of London. |
