| Re: Relaxation Techniques If I'm stressed out to the point where I'm starting to lose my rag, I make a whole bunch of noise. Slam a door, throw something about, primal screaming. Anything to work it out of my system sometimes seems to do the trick. After that, I calm down a lot.
As for medication, I know what you mean. I try not to take it for other reasons, though. I sometimes suffer with a bad back, and don't like to take pain killers for that, as the pain goes away, and I think I'm Superman. I then try to do something I shouldn't, like carry a heavy box, and I'm screwed again! |
