Chavo Guerrero & Super Crazy vs Shannon Morre & Matt Hardy
Legsweep out of nowhere. Spinning bulldog in the corner, Shannon is down. Pin : 1....2..no. The match continues. Tag between Super Crazy and Chavo Guerrero. Chavo Guerrero scoops up Shannon.
Crazy bounces off the ropes and hits a flying Hart Attack clothesline. Second rope flying axe handle, Shannon goes down. Pin : 1....2..no. The match continues.
Spinning back kick from Chavo Guerrero. Shannon blocks a punch. Flying knee to the face from Shannon Moore. Tag to Matt Hardy. Legsweep out of nowhere. Matt Hardy with a running dropkick into the corner.
Chavo counters an avalanche with a raised foot to the face. Tag to Super Crazy. Back heel kick from Crazy. Crazy face jams Matt Hardy. Cover! 1....2....kick out at the last second! Crazy looks shocked.
Dropkick connects, Hardy goes down. Matt Hardy pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. Spinning bulldog in the corner, Crazy is down. Super Crazy gets whipped into the corner by Hardy, and flips all the way over to the outside!
Crazy stays down on the outside, hurt. The referee reaches a ten count, and this one is over. Gregory Helms comes running down the aisle with a chair, and gets into the ring! Helms hits Chavo with a chair to the back! Chavo Guerrero goes down to the canvas, hurting.
Randy Savage is in the ring. Brian Lawler & Stacy Kiebler come out, and challenge him to a match at The Promise Land. The challenge is accepted.
Big Show vs Bill Goldberg
Big Show hits some punches. Big Show gets taken down out of nowhere. Goldberg hits a right hand. The referee goes down after accidentally getting caught by an elbow to the face.
Tornado punch from Bill Goldberg. Hooks the leg, but there's no referee to make the count. Goldberg drops an elbow...but misses.
Flying shoulder tackle by Big Show sends Goldberg to the mat. Full nelson slam! Pin : 1....2..no. The match continues.
Spear! Big Show is down and hurt. Pin : 1....2....kick out! A split-second away from a three.
Goldberg counters an avalanche with a raised foot to the face. Bill Goldberg hits a bulldog off the ropes. Pin : 1....2....no! They cut that one close. Big Show elbows Bill Goldberg in the face to break a hammerlock.
The referee watches as the two wrestlers go to the outside and start brawling around ringside. He completes a ten count, and they are still outside, having ignored the count. This match is over via double count out.
But the fight hasnt finished. Big Show and Goldberg have begun brawling again! They wind up brawling all the way down the aisle and out of view.
Eric Bischoff is backstage, and announces that Ric Flair got injured at a house show & wont be able to compete at The Promise Land. Instead tonight we will see Booker T and Rob Van Dam fight one on one, In an I Quit match! The winner will take the place of the injured Ric Flair in the main event at The Promise Land. While the loser will be against an unnamed opponent.
Rob Van Dam vs Booker T
I Quit Match
Booker T uses a forearm to the face. Back elbow connects, RVD staggers backward. Back elbow connects, RVD staggers backward. RVD blocks a punch. Rob Van Dam with a running dropkick into the corner. Booker T powers out of a Rob Van Dam headlock. Powerslam from Booker T.
Flapjack from Booker. RVD blocks a suplex attempt. Booker walks into a high dropkick from Rob Van Dam. Rob Van Dam misses a clothesline.
Booker T with a spinning neckbreaker on RVD. Booker drops an elbow...but misses. Rob Van Dam climbs to the top rope...but Booker gets back up, and charges! RVD gets knocked off the top...and goes crashing to the outside, landing hard on the concrete floor!
Booker climbs out with a microphone and shoves it in the face of Rob Van Dam...who has no choice but to quit! The pain was too much. Booker T will face Randy Orton for the vacant WCW World title.
Randy Orton & David Flair (Subbing for Ric Flair) vs The Naturals
Douglas hits a wicked chop. Douglas uses a basement dropkick to the knee. Hooks the leg : 1....2....shoulder up. Tag between Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens. The Naturals hook up Flair, then hit a double suplex. Pin : 1....2..no. The match continues.
Second rope flying axe handle, Flair goes down.
Flair slips out the back of a Chase Stevens bodyslam. Powerslam from David Flair. Cover! 1....2...kick out. Tag to Randy Orton.
Massive backbreaker, Stevens got planted. Pin : 1....2....no! They cut that one close. Big backdrop on Stevens, executed well.
Stevens counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Driven DDT by Chase Stevens. Tag to Andy Douglas.
Douglas hits a wicked chop. Tag to David Flair. Superkick out of nowhere on Orton. David Flair is all alone...The Natural Disaster!! 1....2....3!
Orton and Flair remain in the ring, arguing. David Flair looks really angry. Randy Orton pushes Flair away. Flair pushes Orton back. Orton hits a right hand then lays Flair out with the RKO! Orton walks off, looking furious.
