Yup...the NBA is full of assholes like this who think they can dictate who drafts them
Kobe Bryant said before he got drafted that he would only play for the Knicks or Lakers. He was invited to a pre-draft workout with the Pacers (this was the Reggie Miller Pacers, who were REALLY good)and he told them no, saying they played in too small a market. The Hornets told him they were going to draft him and he told them "Draft me if you want, I'll never play for you". And sure enough, they drafted him and were forced to trade him |
