Re: Freeney Re-signs

No kidding SS. I hate when players holdout. Everyone knows you are going to get a fatass contract. Just show up and do your freaking part and the team will do theirs.

Rumors are that Asante will sign with the Pats though. I mean he was making 750K the past few years and was moving up to 7.8 million this year because of the tag. How does someone that wants to be a balla (is that how you spell it?) turn down that kind of cash when he, by NFL standards, was a peasant?

Look for him to tuck his tail between his legs and show up. He is freaking crazy if he thinks the Patriots are going to cave into his demands. They never have and never will. There may be a day when Tom Brady wants more money and the Pats release him.

Its just how they roll. Its also how they stay so sucessful. Loyalty doesnt mean shit in sports anymore. Its a shame, but its true. This works both ways too. Both the owners and the players follow the money trail.

Also, on a side note. This Freeney signing makes the Richard Seymour signing look like an absolute steal. Also, how the fuck do the Colts keep coming up with all this cash??????
