The only time they ever had a great closer was with Smoltz and that took away from the rotation. I think it's harder to win the world series now then it's ever been..

In the 1950's the Braves wouldn't have had to play so many tough teams in a row..

Another reason why the Yankees 26 championships are a bit misleading..
