McClennan gets Leeds Rhinos post

McClennan gets Leeds Rhinos post

Leeds Rhinos have appointed New Zealand coach Brian McClennan as successor to Tony Smith, who becomes full-time Great Britain boss at the end of the season.

McClennan, 45, will begin his two-year contract from 1 December.

As I said there was no way that New Zealand were going to stop McClennan from taking the Rhinos job, it is just too big of an opportunity, this year the Super League isn't a one team race like last year with St Helens basically winning it from the start, it is between Leeds, Bradford and St Helens this year.
