Re: NBA Official Off Season Thread

Personally I don't want to see it done, that's my personal opinion, I wanna see them re-sign Andres Nocioni, and use that High Draft Pick on a Big Man. I'd rather keep The core that's there then trade it away...

As reported in the Shoutbox, possible trade talks surrounding Kevin Garnett have involved the Boston Celtics as reported by ESPN.com's Chad Ford here's what it looks like

Boston Gets:
PF Kevin Garnett

Minnesota Gets:
PG Sebastian Telfair
GF Gerald Green
PF Theo Ratliff
PF Al Jefferson
SG Allan Ray
5th Overall Pick(2007)

That would leave the teams with the Starting Five's of
Boston:
C Kendrick Perkins
PF Kevin Garnett
SF Wally Sczerbiak
SG Paul Pierce
PG Delonte West

Minnesota
C Theo Ratliff/Mark Blount
PF Al Jefferson
SF Ricky Davis/Gerald Green
SG Randy Foye/Gerald Green
PG Sebastian Telfair/Troy Hudson/Marko Jaric/Randy Foye

It definitely give the T'Wolves some flexibility and two Top 10 Picks. And it gives the Celtics at least a couple runs at the finals. As they aren't run compeletly bone dry.

EDIT: Kevin Garnett does have an opt-out clause at the end of 2007 Season, so he could only have one go in Boston, that may decrease the trade value
