They just traded Penny Hardaway and Trevor Ariza for Steve Francis. Oh joy...

So the roster now looks like this:

PGs:

Stephon Marbury - shoot-first point guard who doesnt make his teammates better

Steve Francis - shoot-first point guard who doesnt make his teammates better. And he's an emotional pouter.

Nate Robinson - a 5'9 (if that) rookie

SG/SF:

Jalen Rose - a total headcase. Very talented (like Marbury, Crawford, and Francis) but doesnt really know teamwork at all.

Jamal Crawford - a shoot-first guard who has never played a lick of defense in his life, and rarely passes the ball once it's in his hands.

Quentin Richardson - all he knows how to do is shoot 3's, and he doesnt even do that very well any more

Qyntel Woods - he was a member of the Trail (Jail) Blazers. That's all you have to know.

PF:

Channing Frye - The lone bright spot on the team. The one player in recent Knicks history that fans have been excited about

David Lee - looked good at times, but he's still just a rookie. And he's white.

Maurice Taylor - Yeah...he's not really all that good...

Malike Rose - pretty tough guy and solid defender, but getting old and lacks offensive skills

C:

Eddy Curry - not bad, but a little overweight, and has a heart condition which could end his career at any time

Jerome James - the absolute worst signing of the Isiah era. He translated 5 good games in the playoffs last year to like a $60 million contract. Ugh.

So basically, the Knicks have one legitimate starter (Curry), a rookie with a ton of potential (Frye), a decent back-up point guard (Robinson), and a rookie who could be a solid 7th, 8th, or 9th man in the rotation (Lee).

I fucking hate Isiah Thomas...
