Re: Toshack must resign says Savage

Ha Ha…. Why was this posted? It’s utter garbage. Anyone who’s seen Wales play lately know that Savage is talking out of his arse. I like Savage, but this time he’s gone too far. He’s shown he’s bitter and regrets throwing his toys out of the pram.

Here’s what John Toshack has brought to the welsh national set up since he took over.

- Giggs playing regularly for Wales. No other manager got him playing as regular as he had been before his retirement. Not even Mark Hughes.

- Bringing through and blooding young players with genuine international experience, e.g. Cotterill, Bale, Leadly, Nyatanga, Duffy.

- He’s got Gabbidon realizing he’s our best defender, and he’s playing with more intensity.

- We’ve developed a smashing passing game, it’s as good as any of the top Premiership sides.

- He’s got Koumas back involved, and keeping faith with him, making him feels like he belongs there, and in turn Koumas has been playing some awesome football.

- He’s brought the pride back into playing for Wales. Players now have to earn the right and want to play for Wales. Slackers and moaners aren’t given the time of day e.g. Thatcher, Savage, Oster.

And to conclude, Tosh himself summed it all up with a statement he made after reading Savages’ comments:
