I think it STINKS. For me Glen Roeder has done a good job at Newcastle this season, and lets remember he's had to cope with the loss of Alan Shearer and no Michael Owen for the majority of the season. He knew Freddie Sheppard was going to sack him so he jumped ship first, which I think was the right thing for him to do.
In the last month or so I have been appaled by two decisions by Premiership Chariman (this and Colemans sacking). Big Sam will do no better than those before him. Newcastle at their very best will probably only win the FA Cup, but I don't even see that happening anytime soon.
I hope Roeder picks up a club soon.
