Why do you say that? Is it the look, the fact it's on a seperate page?

Personally, I believe that the fact it's on a seperate page makes it nicer because it doesn't clutter the forum home, and you can turn all the sounds off except when people either type, or enter a room, etc. There are so many more features that the shoutbox... Other than cosmetics, I don't know why it would be considered sub par to the SB.
