There was a particularly disturbing programme on in the UK this week about women that breastfeed, and in particular ones that breastfeed their children way beyond the acceptable age of this process going on. For example, a woman who still breastfeeds her 7 year old, and her 9 year old wants to "go for it again" as a treat for her upcoming 10th birthday.
So, a few questions.
Were you breastfed? If you still are....I don't want to know.
What's a socially acceptable age to do this until? Maybe you think this should never happen anyway.
Some of the women that were interviewed (mainly tree hugging hippy types) insisted that we have it all wrong and that, in truth, the breasts are not a sexual device in any way and that it is only the modern media and conceptions that are making them this way. They are, in fact, feeding devices.
