He did well but they could have done a lot more with the role.

I would have appreciated an expanded part on the whole relationship between the Rider personality and Johnny being torn over living his own life and saving others.

In the comic it took a long time for him to accept this is what he had to do.

The movie had him accept the Rider role way too easy...
