TAMPA, Fla. -- Seattle's Kelly Herndon broke his left ankle during the first half of Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, leaving the Seahawks without both of their starting cornerbacks.

Herndon was injured making the tackle on Tampa Bay's Joey Galloway during a leaping 44-yard reception late in the first quarter. Seattle already was playing without Marcus Trufant, who has a sprained ankle.

The Seahawks also said linebacker Leroy Hill suffered a concussion. His return was questionable.
