| My word, Randy Moss requesting to be traded again!? Well thats what you get with this "head case." Someone who is so undeserving to be in the position he is and receive all the reognition he gets, really doesn't deserve the big time contract that he is bound to get offered. Sure you can relate his depature to the gawd awful play of the Raiders, however this argument is so one sided. The simple fact is that the Raiders defense is one of the tops in the league ranking in at seventh with only 292.2 yards given up per game and only an average of 229.7 yards coming from the offense. Even though the demise of this franchise's once brillant offense can be related to the arrogance and insufficent paly of Moss, there are many others as to which it can be contributed.
To begin with, Andrew Walter. By far the worst Quarterback in the league with a passer rating less than 50% as well as the magnitude of an asshole for his down right crued comments toward the Raider's management, team, and coaches. Secondly, we have Jerry Porter. I mean I really like this guy and after seeing him alongside Tim Brown and Jerry Rice, I thought he had a great future. But, his ego eventually got the better of him and soon enough he was riding the bench. Just another guy wanting to get traded, but in all fairness he will have a solid future. And last but not least, the Raiders offensive line. Surely they have been terrible giving up 40 sacks on Andrew Walter alone, but the difficulty here can be contributed to repetitive injuries to Gallery, Simms, and Grove. So as you can tell, Randy does have his rights as the offense of the Raiders hasn't really lived up to standards other than the sub-par play of one Lamont Jordan who despite being overweight, out of shape, having no pass support, no offensive line, and being injuried, yet he still averages over 3 yards per carry.
Now back to the arrogant prick known as Randy Moss. As you can tell, I do believe he isn't the only man who is leading to these troubles, despite all those dropped passes in Seattle, ouch. Now I know you all have been comparing him to Terrell Owens, someone who may I say receives far too much publicity and is half the issue of what Randy is, so with that I'd have to give Owens the title as "better overall." Now Randy was an outstanding player in Minnesota and by far the most athletic receiver to ever play the game, but once his attitude began to effect his play, it all went downhill. So with that, I'd say Randy is no longer worthy of Hall of Fame status, but I wish I could say the same for the hefty contract he will receive from whomever takes the next chance. |
