Really sucks for BSU, though it seems like he'll likely be good to go against Nevada, which is really the only bump left on their schedule. Utah State is absolutely horrible and beating them without Johnson, as good as he is, won't be a problem.

I'm also making a prediction here that Butch Davis has North Carolina competing for ACC titles within three years. With his coaching pedigree, you know he's going to be able to recruit well. I don't often find myself thinking, "Wow, that 1-9 team is going to work really well with coach X," but I think it applies here.

It's also pretty wild how many important games in terms of conferance titles there are this week. Let me line it up here.

West Virginia/Pittsburgh - Big East title eliminator
Maryland/Boston College - ACC title eliminator
Oklahoma/Baylor - Big 12 title eliminator
Michigan/Ohio State - Big Ten title
Virginia Tech/Wake Forest - ACC title eliminator
Rutgers/Cincinnati - Big East title eliminator
California/USC - Pac-10 title
