On Troy Smith, I basically agree with both of you as to how he translates in the NFL, but I still think he's a lock to go on the first day (and ahead of at least a few of those guys you listed, Prez -- Stocco? Edwards? come on).
I think he measured 6'0 at the Senior Bowl, which is leaps and bounds better than if he had come in at 5'11, if still not close to ideal size. Teams will watch the tape from last season, where he played all-worldly, and was a great leader for the Buckeyes (save the NC game).
At the very least, I could see the Browns taking him early in the 3rd. |
