Not that I can think of.

The ads take up way too much space.
You may or may not be aware that Monks Diner is supported through private funding, and advertising revenue. Would you pay a small subscription fee to help support monks and it's growth, in exchange for a ad free environment?

It varies often. It can be fast, it can be slow, and it goes down a bit too often.
How important is Avatar size limits, and forum signature limits to you?
It is important to me. I like a nice size that lets you be able to shrink a bigger picture down but still be seen and not distorted.
