Ok first thing with EA is that they are the biggest publisher of games in the world by a considerable distance.

EA Sports brand = huge gaming sales from Madden in the USA to Fifa in Europe.
EA games = Sims 1 (biggest selling game in History) Sims 2, and an absolute tonne of other stuff.

Obviously this is European based but the general consensus amongst gamers is that EA are a bunch of hacks who simply buy out any studio that makes a good game and then EA used the studio to produce sequel after sequel until the cash cow dies a death. This pattern is with sport and regular games across consoles i.e. Madden, Fifa, Need for Speed, Sims, i.e. any sequel that comes out around Christmas is likley to be an EA title.

They do however shift a shit load of games every year as you probably know.

The demand and love for the Wii in Europe as been pretty crazy. The Wii was given a lot of press as the must have gadget of the Christmas period and it wasn't uncommon to see huge queues outside GAME shops in the UK when a Wii shipment was due.

PS3 I can't help you because in Europe we don't know the official launch price but I can tell you this, I am a gaming but with nearly every console under the sun and if the PS3 is over £400 which I think it will be I won't buy it.

Any questions let me know./
