What is boils down to is we should have never been there. We did not have the support of our own citizens, and most people didn't even know what we were fighting for. Patriotism was at an all time low. Not an ideal situation for a military conflict.

Just note that as a Political blunder, not a Military one.

Note that I never said anything about the U.S. having the best Political system!!

You should have added blind and obscenely irrational love for ones nation to the three on your list.

Trust you to take a fun little thread where people have been self mocking about their nations fallabilities and turn it into some ra-ra flag waving, we're mighty you're not rant.

Your opinion would also have more credence and respectability if you had actually stepped one foot outside the US in your life!!
