The bad about the whole situation is that he really did not even need the money. He was all ready a millionaire when he won the money. He bought $100 worth of lottery tickets every week.

The money did pretty much destroy his life though. He gave his 17 year old granddaughter a bunch of money to do whatever she wanted with. She got her own apartment and bought several cars. She died of a drug over dose about 6 months later. Too much money at such a young age.

BTW: I know so much about this because I live about 60 miles from where he lives and they cover everything he does on the local news pretty much....lol.
