I'm perfectly content with seeing what Brandon Jacobs can do. In limited action this season, he was pretty awesome. I've heard that they are interested in bringing in Michael Turner from San Diego, who would be the perfect alternative to Jacobs.

The Giants blew several 4th quarter leads/ties this year (Tennessee, Philly twice, Dallas), and could not count on the defense to make a stop when they needed it. Also, teams were picking the Giants apart in the passing game all year. They need secondary help in the worst way. They've got tons of good young talent on the D-line, and I'm happy with Antonio Piece. Outside linebacker and CB are the obvious glaring holes on the Giants team. WR is a need as well.

As for Eli, it's become very fashionable in New York to say that he'll never be anything and to get rid of him. I'm not going to rush to judgement like that. He's had moments of brilliance, and he's had some rough times. But I certainly don't think he's done. It's a lot more media-led nonsense.

I hate the fucking sports media...
