Have to give major credit to the Liverpool fans even at 5-1 down they were still singing and got a consolation. Great goal from Gerrard but i knew it was a goal as before the free kick was even taken.
Almunia had a great game and i now think hes proven himself to be good enough to fill Jens boots when he retires/leaves.
My only problem now is Pick two from Henry, Ade, Van Persie, Ali, Baptista. Ali can play on the right i think as he caused a lot of problems for liverpool their tonite. Van Persie can go on the left and always be on his good foot going forwards.
Great game, i wasent expecting us to win. i was hoping we would but it didnt bother me either way as the reserves will play the first leg against spurs at least.
