| I agree with Joe's Super bowl assessment.
The Saints are the most well-rounded team in the NFC. The Bears and Giants have their QB issues, the Seahawks have injury problems, and the Cowboys are looking shaky. I'm just not 100% sold on the eagles, and I really cant give you a reason why. If I had to rank them in order of their chances of winning the conference, I would go:
1. New Orleans
2. Seattle (they still have a ton of talent, despite the recent ineffective play)
3. Chicago
4. Philly
5. Dallas
6. New York
As for the AFC, the Chargers are looking very strong. They have the best player in the NFL (ever?) and a stout defense. Rivers has been shaky lately, but they can keep giving it to Tomlinson and allowing him to make magic. The Ravens are looking good too. The Jets are a nice little story, but I think they'll have trouble beating the Patriots, then the Chargers, then either the Colts or Ravens. The Colts cant stop the run, and they'll face plenty of teams that will be able to run on them. also, their offense is not as potent as it once was. And the Patriots have let too much talent go in recent years for my liking. And I think the Chiefs just aren't well-rounded enough. I'd say mos tlikely to make the Super Bowl goes like this:
1. San Diego
2. Baltimore
3. New England
4. Indianapolis
5. Kansas City
6. New York |
