I'm all for this. It works well in Rugby Union and should defiantly be adopted by the football world. What you'll see is that captains and referees build up a bit of a relationship, and from that they can discuss stuff in a rational manner (similarly to how Jose Mourinho and Alan Whiley did a few weeks ago) instead of shouting at each other. Also we could get to see a bit of banter between the two, instead of this schoolmaster/pupil thing we see at the moment.
