As for this, i'm pleased with this as Chelsea have taken some of the fun out of football with their spending.
Football should have a transfer budget cap as it is unfair for a team coming up from the championship to the premiership to only have a small buget and then see teams like Chelsea splashing out on players they don't use often {Shawn Wright-Phillips prime example}
Its also unfair as there are teams in the lower leagues struggling to stay in bussiness and then have to see Chelsea splashing out on a player when that kind of money would be a massive bonus to a lower league club. |
