| Yes, there are a lot of states that have awful senetences when dealing with these cases, and I think it goes back before we knew exactly what kind of damage a thing like this could have on a child.
Of course we knew it was sick and disgusting, but probably not to the extent we know now.
The drug laws have probably been changed many times over the years, so now we have rediculous things like you've just described.
Like it or not, drug cases affect the government far more then rape cases, so of course they are going to make sure they help themselves on those issues before they help anyone else.
The country is fucked for many reasons and this is just one of them.
If it were up to me, the fucker would never get out. Fuck rehabiliation, he'd rot in a cell or get the lethal injection. |
