| A question for the god squad Oh I know, I'm only joking, I don't think you're a "God Squad" really, but the fact is we have quite a large number of Christians on this site.
Now me, I'm completely non-religious but I do wonder one thing here.
What is our Christians opinion of Christmas and how it is celebrated?
Does it get your goat a bit that, what is meant to be a Christian celebration of the birth of Jesus is instead a corporate frenzy where huge parts of the populous bastardise the celebration by spending the whole month spending great wads of cash on unnecessary gifts and being almost completely drunk from 1st December onwards.
Or alternatively, is it that it actually still heartens you that most of these things are done with the thought of being with others and celebrating (even though they're not correctly celebrating?) and maybe generally being of "goodwill" |
