New Rating system. I'm going right in order of the show. Rating System + Enjoyed the segment liked most if not all of parts. / Thought the segment was good, but also had negative parts to it. - Totally hated the segment. Lax/America's Most Wanted segment
LAX talking shit about America, and out comes America's Most Wanted. I'm a huge America's Most Wanted fan. This feud looks like a good one. Gail Kim is also hot as all hell, and I'd love to bang her oh wow. (+) Samoa Joe Vs Jay Lethal
Joe is a fucking machine man. Cool how TNA gives Lethal some moves to not totally make him job. Liked how he got some offense in. The mustlebuster, and Cokina Clutch were both amazing moves by Joe. He's definitly an awsome wrestler. Sonjoy Dutt also comes in get owns a bit, but I'm a huge fan nonetheless. Then Joe cuts a quick promo. He's got some skills on the mic as well.(+) Austin Star/Kevin Nash/Alex Shelley segments
This went on throughout the night. Each bit being worse than the last. It was capped off by Kevin Nash showing his whole backside. Just what the fans want to see a 45 years old ass crack (-) Team 3D promo
Cool that they are still around they cut a pretty decent promo. I always liked these guys, and glad to see them around. I didnt have the slightless clue they still havent won the NWA Title. Thats pretty cool. (/) The Naturals W/Shane Douglas Vs Team 3D (In a tables match)
So there version of a tables match is whoever gets thrown through the tables first loses. Pretty cool. Another cool piece of info, Team 3D has never lost a tables match ever. This match further shows how great of a tag division TNA has. Great that they actually give the tag division a shot. Match was pretty good, and The Dudley Boys actually lost. The Naturals look real good, and cool that they are getting a push (+) Abyss Package Video Damn TNA cuts some mean video packages. Wasnt this the guy from WWE? Anyway, I've always been a huge fan of James Mitchell so obviously this video was a great one for me. Didnt realize how crazy Abyss was too. Gives Mick Foley a run for his money (+) Kazarian/Johnny Devine, Maverick Madden Promo/Angle
So this is a whole new version of Raven's Flock starting pretty cool, and out of no where here comes The James Gang, only they arent The James Gang anymore. There new name VKM (Vince McMahon's Initials get it) Okay so it wasnt the greatest concept. Billy Gunn is sporting a new red haircut. Kind of makes his gay angle in WWE look cool. So they both shoot on WWE, and DX in particular. Why even focus on other people's shit. Makes you seem pathetic in my opinion. Anyway, they keep shooting, and ya you get the idea. Overall a pretty boring segment. (-) Rhyno promo Ehh Rhyno is cool, never had that great of promo skills though. average segment (/) Rhyno Vs Christian Cage(Steel Cage, Barbed Wire Match) Pretty cool match concept. They each got to pick items or whatever. Which included Bull Cutters, 2 Steel Chairs, A Straight Jacket, and a Key. The match was crazy. Real good pace, both guys giving it there all. Christian got busted up real good, and wow has he improved from WWE. Of course that could be for the simple fact he can actually wrestle with a larger selection of moves. Instead of having to to do the same limited move set week in and week out. Christian got ripped open pretty bad, he was pouring blood. The ending was crazy. Rhyno gored Christian through the cage giving Christian the win. Awsome finish (+) Jim Cornette W/ David Eckstein Ehh never a fan of celeb interaction, was okay I guess (/) Chris Sabin Vs Christopher Daniels Vs AJ Styles(C) For The X-Division Title
First match I've seen Hebner ref in TNA. Pretty cool, even after he sold that shit on Ebay or whatever haha. Christopher Daniels is the man. Always been one of my favs. I like how they keep the X-Division on high level, and make it seem as important as the heavyweight title. AJ has one the X-Division, and Heavyweight titles multiple times and he went back to the X-Division so it makes it seem like that title is also big time. Incredible moves by all, well that's obviously expected. Makes WWE wrestling look beyond pathetic. They did a kickass Tower Of Doom, that looked like it really hurt. Christian Cage then comes out of no where. I hadnt seen the previous week, but I guess Christian already screwed AJ Styles once. So Cage again screws Styles, and Daniels wins the match on a roll up. Hate to see that as an outcome, but its whatever. Match was great, so I'll give it a plus. Your new X Division Champ Christopher Daniels! (+) Another LAX Segment W/ Petey Williams, and Christy Hemme
Pretty decent segment. LAX tries to peer pressure Petey into burning the American flag. Petey comes to his senses and rips the flag, and says he wont let them burn it. They go on to beat down Petey, and pour gasoline all over him. As they are going to burn Petey the cops show up. Hemme is left crying over Petey. (/) Sting Promo Another excellent promo video. (+) Abyss Vs Kurt Angle
I was excited to see Angle's in ring debut. Angle came out ready to role, and was pumped from the start. Abyss hit an awsome Shock Treatment, that looked crazy. The match overall was decent. They both didnt mesh that well. I actually didnt like the finish. I was thinking they were going to make it a wash, and have a run in, or double count out. Instead they had Abyss tap. The same Abyss that has never tapped before. The same Abyss who Sunday was going up for the TNA World Title. Seems like crappy booking to me. So that happens then here comes Samoa Joe. Angle puts on the ankle lock, and Joe reverses it. Samoe Joe starts a beat down on Angle. Here comes Abyss who joins in on the fun. The lights eventually go out, and here comes sting from the top off the arena on a rope. Seems kind of dangerous, not too high though. So Sting beats the crap out of Abyss. This is looking even worse for Abyss. Pan into the ring, and Angle is getting totally owned by Somoa Joe. Only thing working in Angles favor is he just had a match, and it wasnt too impressive beating up a guy who just fought Abyss. They go to the back, and Sting is hung upside down and Abyss is beating Sting with a baseball bat. I guess that gave some of Abyss's momentum back. The shows ends with Joe putting Angle in a submission (+) Overall: I'm very impressed wonder how going from two hours back to one hour is going to be. I dont know if they can really compete with a one hour show per week. Everything gets rushed, and it makes the product look bad. Anyway, this show was a great one, and definitly better than anything Raw has put out in awhile. Rating: :eight: |
