| Well, pocket 9's is not that strong of a hand, but heads up it's a monster. You really have no chips left and that hand should be the hand you should be going all in with. By just calling you will basically have to go all in on the next bet anyway cause you are pot commited, but by just calling you are letting the two blinds come in for chip and pocket 9's against 3 or 4 guys, is not THAT strong.
Also when people raise from late positions, half of the times, they are usually just stealing and he might only have an A high or something and if thats the case, you are a good favorite. The other half of the times, you are in a race. |
