So a friend asked me what i thought of the new IMVU messaging service. I said I didn't know but I'd Try it out so here ya go here's the review of IMVU
It's a store based IM the more points you gain the "cooler" stuff you can get You can start out with basic stuff but nothing fancy. You gain points by adding friends and by referring friends. Also you gain minimal points from chatting. The Interface is hard to navigate and more of a pain than anything. The friends window looks like MSN and Yahoo!. It slowed my computer down and the chats were severely lagging. Now for some positives. The concept in my mind is great it's basically avatar chat. You create a virtual you and you can interact with the person you are actually. So Instead of chatting *hug* You can make your avatar hug the other persons. It's a great concept but seems to be hastily installed. Download and Installation Time about 4 minutes. Overall a 2/10 not worth the time or the effort of Downloading it. |
