| If Bret hadn't been injured
A whole bunch of "if's" here but, for fun, what do you think would have happened had Bret stayed fit. Had he not had the concussions and the stroke.
Sure he would have seen out his WCW contract (if it was still running, I can't remember!) when Vince bought WCW. But would he have gone back to wrestle at any time had he stayed fit?
Personally I think he may have done. On his terms of course. I don't think he would have ever been involved in any Vince, Bret, Shawn crap. But I do think he would have eventually gone back, like I say on his terms, for a one off match at least with Kurt Angle. I just think the competitive nature of him would have wanted a WWE leaving match that would have (in his eyes) been a better departure from the group than the one he had. He's often said if he had one match in him, he would have wanted Angle. |
