| I know what you're saying BD. People can't say or do whatever it is that they wish. Sometimes there is consequences. As George W. Bush once said, "there should be a limit on freedom." He's a wise-man though.
I've destroyed my point. But what I'm saying is that freedom of speech doesn't give you an open card to say whatever it is that you wish. The United States doesn't allow that either. Many reporters have been jailed in this country, which in my opinion is far, far worse.
I think sometimes when people make insane statements it only hurts their cause rather than ignite it. He just looks like an idiot. And if he's wrong, as he is, the facts will come out and bury him. If you put a blanket over him you're just going to get the Jesus treatment and people are going to start looking at him harder, with more interest, and start actually wondering if there's merit behind what he's saying. |
